The actor Peter Bause reads from his autobiography
"You don't die in the third act!" says full-blooded actor Peter Bause, reviewing sixty exciting years of his career and eighty eventful years in his autobiography. The arch-comedian and character actor pours out a whole bag of theatrical jokes, in which colleagues such as Dietrich Körner, Klaus Piontek, Ekkehard Schall and Rolf Ludwig make their appearances.
With a great deal of humor and clever understatement, Peter Bause talks about his life as an actor and takes his audience with him onto the boards that mean the world.
The reading will take place on April 19 at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall of Stavenhagen Castle. Admission 12 euros. Pre-registration is requested (phone 039954 21072 or e-mail literaturmuseum@stavenhagen.de).
