The Mecklenburg Schweiz and Lake Kummerow Nature Park invites you to take an evening paddle tour between Malchin and Lake Kummerow. The tour takes you along the Peene, past the moorland farmers, through the peat bogs and on to Lake Kummerow. Along the way, a nature park ranger will tell you lots of interesting facts about beavers and otters, the birdlife on the water, the river and moorland landscape of the Peene and about the nature park. With a bit of luck, you may even spot beavers.
The meeting point is in Malchin at the canoe club "Kösters Eck" (Am Kanal 2, 17139 Malchin). Clothing should be suitable for the weather.
As the number of participants is limited, please register at the nature park by calling 0385 588 64 830. Please also indicate whether you are coming as a family. This helps us to plan the boat allocation.
There is a charge of 15 euros per participant for the use of the boats.
