For the first time, Rügen will host the legendary Ötillö Swimrun, one of the toughest one-day races in the world. This spectacular event, part of the renowned Ötillö Swimrun World Series, combines the disciplines of running and swimming in a unique challenge through the breathtaking nature of the island.
On September 13, 2025, the time has come: Whether you're a pro or a beginner, the Ötillö Swimrun on Rügen offers the right format for everyone:
World Series (43.8 km): From Klein Zicker via Mönchgut and Sellin to Binz.
Sprint (24.5 km): From Alt Reddevitz, the route takes you on a varied route via Moritzburg, through Sellin and the Granitz to Binz.
Experience (6.9 km): A perfect beginner's version with a swim in the Baltic Sea and a run through the Granitz – starting and finishing in Binz.
Participation is possible both as a team and as an individual.
