Neubandenburger Jazzfrühling Concert:Malstrom
The Malstrom trio has existed since 2014 and expresses itself through a wide variety of musical backgrounds. In addition to "jazz" as the lowest common denominator, various other influences such as metal, punk, new music, pop/rock and electro play an important role in this band. The trio won the European Burghausen Jazz Prize in 2015, the international Getxo Jazz Competition in 2017, the international Biberach Jazz Prize in 2018 and has released five albums to date. The trio has been touring both in Europe and internationally (e.g. China and Israel) for almost 10 years now.
