A hike through the Granitz beech forest to the hunting lodge
After an evening hike through the beech forest and many stories about the Granitz, the guests are awaited at the hunting lodge. During an exclusive tour of the castle, they learn many exciting stories about the magnificent "luxury building" of the Putbus princes, which forms the center of the forest as a popular excursion destination. The owner Wilhelm Malte I zu Putbus wanted to build a prestigious hunting lodge in one of his most beautiful hunting grounds and created a famous landmark on the Island of Rügen with the central tower, which can be seen from afar. On the way to the tower, guests hear stories of changes in plans, hot knights, the princely hunt, fantastic culinary delights and the personal fates of the owners. The tour ends with a fantastic panorama of Rügen: sunset and moonlight, lighthouse fires and the lights of the villages are the face of the island at night.
