Himmelpfort celebrates its foundation 725 years ago on the 1st weekend in July with a big festival on the monastery meadow.
The official anniversary weekend will be celebrated from July 5 to 7, 2024, when the Klostergeflüster festival - a market with music and entertainment - will take place around the brewery on all three days of the festival. On Saturday, there will also be a medieval market on the monastery meadow with a parade, fire show and dancing in the evening. On Sunday, visitors can look forward to an open-air festival service and a guided tour with stories and legends about Himmelpfort with landscape guide Thomas Röhlinger.
