I am Michael Hitschold, I was born in 1970 in Chemnitz and grew up from my youth in Coburg. For over 20 years I have been artistically active and create sculptures in my studio - spatial gestures in forged steel. After my education in metal design in Dresden and Berlin, study trips with longer-term activities to North America, South America and South Africa followed, which have enriched me very much and laid the foundation for my work. Meanwhile I live and work in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Besides my objects made of steel, I also create paintings - shapes combined with colors, printed on wood.
