Lunchtime
Ingwer Feddersen returns to his home village of Brinkebüll when he sees that his grandparents are struggling with problems. His grandfather doesn't want to give up his pub and his grandmother is becoming increasingly confused. Ingwer soon realizes that the whole village is no longer the way it used to be. He wonders when exactly the decline began. Was it in the 70s after the land consolidation, when hedges and birds disappeared? Or is it because he went to Kiel to study and left his grandfather alone?
