Debussy - Chopin - Langaard - Scriabin
Classical music with vision: Competitions, music institutions and foundations each present "their" young musicians for two days at Bothmer Castle. All of them have already won important prizes and made a name for themselves in their field.
This Friday afternoon, more young artists are eagerly awaiting their solo Bothmer performance. The Danish pianist Gustav Piekut will kick things off with piano works from the first half of the 20th century. He will be performing a piece by his compatriot Rued Langgaard. The composer has been described by experts as bizarre, ingenious, forgotten and "the great unknown". Gustav Piekut introduces him to the German audience.
