On the occasion of the 100th birthday of writer and cabaret artist Heinz Kahlow (1924 - 2015)
The writer and cabaret artist Heinz Kahlow would have been 100 years old in summer 2024.
Known for his poems in Eulenspiegel, reports in the magazine, musicals and plays, he also wrote two light-hearted novels, both set in Wustrow. Above all, however, he is remembered for the performances of his "Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Hoffnung" (Society with Limited Hope): in the Berlin artists' club "Die Möwe", in the "Kleine Komödie" in Warnemünde and in the "Kunstkaten" in Ahrenshoop.
Before "Heinz Kahlow" finally begins to become a classic, some of his still (or again) topical satirical texts will be presented in a "chamber revue", both historically and in a contemporary way.
Invited: Andreas Kahlow and friends of the "Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Hoffnung" and pianist Michael Katerbau.
Tickets (€18/ with spa card: €15) are available on 038220-80465.
