June 3, 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka's death.
To mark the anniversary, we would like to commemorate one of the most important writers of the early 20th century as part of our "Mondays at littera et cetera" event series.
The actor Jochen Fahr will read from Franz Kafka's narrative work.
Jochen Fahr, actor at the Mecklenburg State Theater, born in Hamburg in 1963, completed his acting training at the University of Music and Drama in Hamburg. After working at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, the Wuppertaler Bühnen, Theater Kiel and Halle, he was brought to the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater in 1996. He has performed over 50 times, including the solo evening "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka (directed by Markus Wünsch).
