From 19.07. - 23.07.2023 master classes for string instruments will take place within the framework of the International Music Academy Ludwigslust. The particularly appealing charisma of the town of Ludwigslust due to its location, the beautiful castle, the gardens and the town church offer the best conditions. In addition, there is a musical tradition of the Ludwigslust court composers, which has existed since 1770, thus extending beyond the epoch of the classical period into the Baroque era.
The opening concert is on 19.07.2023 at 19.30 in the city church. A highlight is the winners' concert on 22.07.2023 in the Stadthalle. The winners of the "2nd International Online Competition for Young Musicians 2022" will present themselves in Ludwigslust ! For the first time, there will also be a jazz workshop with a final concert by participants and the instructors. On 23.07. at 3 pm in the Stadthalle the final concert of the young participants will end the days of the 2nd International Music Academy Ludwiglust.
Young musical talents are invited to pursue and develop their instrumental, musical skills and ambitions in an optimal and inspiring environment. Under the guidance of renowned instructors, participants will also have the opportunity to present themselves in a course concert in the outstanding acoustics of the Stadtkirche.
