Of course you can take your own finds with you. Previous knowledge is not necessary for these excursions, and sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, a bucket or other collection container and plenty of drinks are recommended. Incidentally, rain is no reason to cancel the excursion - on the contrary: if the stones are wet, you can see the different colors and structures particularly well.

The gravel works are still in operation. They may therefore only be entered with special permission and by trained personnel. Participants are aware that the sorting machines, the sand and gravel piles and the water areas can pose particular dangers. For this reason, participants may only stay where this is expressly permitted. Participation in the excursion, entering the gravel works and staying there, as well as participation in all activities, is exclusively and unconditionally at the participant's own risk. The participant waives his/her right to hold the excursion leader or the gravel plant operator liable for any damage. The site is under video surveillance.
