An expert in family law provides online information about the most important legal criteria for separation. He gives legal advice, tips and answers questions.
At an online event organized by the non-profit association Unterhalt und Familienrecht (ISUV) on 7 May at 6 p.m., a family law expert will provide information on the most important considerations at the beginning of a separation. Questions such as "What does 'separation' mean in legal terms? Do I have to agree to the separation?" or "Who will look after our children now, how and how often? Where will I live in the future? What will happen financially?" are often in the foreground. If you are surprised by a separation, your world is often turned upside down at first. This can be described as an "exceptional emotional situation". The speaker will show ways to deal with the separation emotionally and legally, which issues need to be clarified first and who can help. There are various points of contact for this, from coaching and youth welfare offices to legal advice. For the speaker, the best interests of the child, the avoidance of unnecessary costs and an amicable solution to all matters to be clarified between the parties involved are paramount. Registration by e-mail is required for sending the access link to "rostock@isuv.de" (Mr. Ernst)
