Discover the story of an extraordinary mind whose work still has a formative effect today.
In 2025, we are celebrating the Frege Year to commemorate one of the most important thinkers in mathematics, logic and philosophy: Gottlob Frege (1848 1925). His work had a great influence on mathematics and philosophy. Despite his limited recognition during his lifetime, today he is regarded as one of the central thinkers of modernity.
To mark the 100th anniversary of his death, the exhibition at SCHABBELL invites visitors to discover the life and work of Gottlob Frege. Mathematicians and philosophers around the world are inspired by his groundbreaking findings. In his home country, he remained virtually unknown. The exhibition aims to raise awareness of his work and convey Frege's influence on mathematics and philosophy in an understandable way.
