Members of the Friends of the Putbus Theater and theater lovers meet regularly in the upper foyer of the theater at 11:00 a.m. for an entertaining discussion with interesting personalities.
Prof. Dr. Hans Dieter Knapp has been involved with forests for many years as a geobotanist and landscape ecologist. As head of the Vilm Island branch of the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, he initiated a European beech forest initiative and is now active in nature conservation on a voluntary basis. In 1990, he was involved in the GDR's last law, the globally respected national park program. Our association member is also well known on Island of Rügen as a board member of the Insula Rugia association, which is actively dedicated to the protection, care and development of the Island of Rügen.
Hans Dieter Knapp will find it difficult to limit himself to an hour's foyer meeting, he has so many interesting things to tell.
Admission is free.
