The worldwide non-commercial music festival "Fête de la Musique" will once again have a home in Rostock's Kulturhafen on June 21!
The "Fête de la Musique" music festival, which was first held in Paris, France, on 21 June 1982, is a non-commercial event that has grown steadily since its inception and has now reached international proportions. The Fête de la Musique is also held in Rostock every year at the beginning of summer on June 21. All musicians and DJs play free of charge on stages provided by local businesses and venues. The Fête de la Musique is free of charge for all visitors and takes place at various venues throughout the city. The whole thing is organized in Rostock by the non-profit association "Fete Rostock e.V.", whose members work on a voluntary basis to plan and implement the festival.
The Fête de la Musique is for everyone and lives through the organization of each individual. Thanks to the musical diversity, there is certainly something for everyone.
Once again this year, we cordially invite everyone to join us on the streets of Rostock on June 21 to welcome the beginning of summer with music.
In addition to the live music, there will be an open stage for the first time where you can let off steam artistically. There are no limits to the performances; whether dance, music, poetry, artistry or something completely different is up to you.
