Day 1: "Water Music" - Songs for voice and piano | Water Tales | F. Schubert Trout Quintet
FESTLAND24 - WATER GAMES
Under the motto "Water Games", the mini festival takes place with two consecutive different but thematically linked concert evenings in our village church in Steffenshagen.
Day 1: "Water Music" focuses on chamber music. In addition to songs and readings on the theme of water, the famous Trout Quintet by F. Schubert will be performed.
Day 2: "Not Bach, but the sea should be his name..." refers to a quote by Beethoven about J.S. Bach and focuses on this composer. Here, part of his oeuvre is illuminated in a variety of colors. In addition to his Goldberg Variations, in the versions for piano and string trio in a new artistic combination and linked to the radio play of the same name by Dieter Kühn, the program "Salute to Bach" by the KTG Jazz Trio allows you to immerse yourself in the music of J.S. Bach in a completely new context and completes the wide-ranging journey through the waters of Festlandklassik's water games.
