Festive concert with the "Suoni Dorati" ensemble

You often hear concertos for trumpet and organ. However, our trumpeter was looking for something special and founded a trio in 2007 with soprano, trumpet and organ. Inspired by the bright timbre of the soprano voice and the trumpet, the name Suoni Dorati - Golden Sounds - was born.
The ensemble has been giving concerts in churches all over Germany since 2008. A highlight is the annual concert tour in summer. Suoni Dorati has performed in Schwerin Cathedral, Havelberg Cathedral, Stendal Cathedral, St. Matthew's Church in Berlin and Doberan Minster, among others. We guide our audience through the program ourselves and inform the listener about the works performed as well as about our instruments. In our repertoire selection, we draw on literature in original instrumentation as well as arrangements from all eras. We play Sweelinck and Purcell, Bach and Handel, Cherubini and Dvorak as well as contemporary music. For example, the young composer Friedrich Eydam composed a work especially for our ensemble.
It took a few years for the Suoni Dorati ensemble to form its current line-up. Marleen Mauch (soprano), Hans Jacob (trumpet) and Marco Lemme (organ) harmonize with each other and fill the churches with golden sounds.
