Fauré plays Fauré
The Fauré Quartet is coming! The ensemble prize-winner and audience favorite, named after the French composer Gabriel Fauré (1845 - 1924), will transport the audience into French-graceful and romantic-smouldering worlds of sound with melodies from Fauré's song oeuvre and the passionate intensity of his 1st Piano Quartet. And with a piece by Fauré's contemporary Mélanie Bonis, it offers a late Romantic work by a woman, which is a rarity. The half-timbered church in Neuhaus provides the perfect setting for this guest performance by the spirited French ensemble.
This event is wheelchair accessible.
