In the Caspar David Friedrich Year 2024, the Alte Schule Gallery is showing landscapes by Wolfgang Mattheuer (1927-2004). On display will be drawings, prints and paintings by the Leipzig artist. Jürgen Schäfer (*1941) will be a guest at the exhibition with his paintings. The artist, who lives in Mecklenburg, was a student of Wolfgang Mattheuer.
