Exhibition by Renate Schulz
Renate Schulz, née Wienzek, was born on June 22, 1949 in Lutherstadt Eisleben. She attended the polytechnic secondary school in Eisleben for 10 years and then became a chemical laboratory technician.
She inherited her creative streak from her parents. Her father, in particular, taught her many things; the top priority: "Do it yourself".
But now to painting:
Even at school, she enjoyed painting the most. As a 12-year-old, her parents gave her an oil paint box, but unfortunately she had an allergic reaction to the oil paints. So watercolors came into play. Apart from a few forays into acrylics, she has stuck with watercolors.
After marrying and giving birth to her 2 daughters, she lived in Halle-Neustadt for a long time, where she worked as a circle leader for textile design at the DFD.
After moving to the Allgäu (Memmingen), she joined a painting group. They had a great time and many pictures were created there.
After moving to the beautiful Baltic Sea, she was again drawn to like-minded people and again found a great group at the Frieda art school in Rostock. There, and also in Ahrenshoop, she created many Baltic Sea motifs.
Unfortunately, the group disbanded last year. She is currently looking for like-minded people again... Painting is simply more fun together.
Now she is exhibiting some of her pictures in the foyer of the Haus des Gastes, from landscape paintings to floral, city and harbor motifs.
The exhibition opening will take place on 30.05.2024 at 18:00 in the Haus des Gastes Graal-Müritz.
Each guest will receive a welcome drink and snacks will be provided.
