Insect action day on Biodiversity Day with regional partners
To mark World Biodiversity Day on May 22, the Müritzeum invites you to a day of action. On this day, the museum garden will be buzzing and humming particularly loudly, and the world of the six-legged creatures can be explored in a playful and entertaining way. There will be various stands for playing, researching, crafting and certainly marveling. The Müritzeum is supported by regional partners such as the Entomological Association Mecklenburg e.V., the Müritz National Park, the beekeeping association from Waren (Müritz) e.V. and the author Elvira Gwozdz. Perhaps this day will bring about a change of perspective in the truest sense of the word, because once you have seen the environment through facetted eyes, you may see it differently. Visitors can immerse themselves in a wide variety of insect habitats and take a closer look at the smallest insects with a microscope.
Admission to the action day is included in the day ticket and the current special exhibition "Multifaceted Insects - Diversity | Endangerment | Protection" also provides an interactive insight into the world of the six-legged creatures.
