In a botanical hike, we want to dedicate ourselves to the little beauties that cover the forest floor in spring before the canopy of leaves closes.
To this end, we are going to a very special place: the "Jassewitzer Busch" protection forest with its unique, approximately 250-year-old tree formations, which are contemporary witnesses of historical coppice use.
As this is one of the last relics of this form of forest use, the M-V Foundation for the Protection of the Environment and Nature is dedicated to preserving this unique cultural landscape in the forest with funding from the federal and state governments.
Date: Saturday, March 29, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to approx. 12:00 p.m.
Meeting point: Parking lot at the church Gressow, from there continue with carpools if necessary
Tour guide Anja Kureck, graduate biologist and botanist
