Classical Music

Strings among themselves

With jack-of-all-trades and orchestra founder Daniel Hope and festival prizewinner Timothy Ridout, two multiple award-winning classical stars will be in the spotlight in the Haferscheune at Gut Stolpe an der Peene/at the birthday concert in honor of the Ulrichshusen festival venue; the English violist Ridout, for example, is the newly crowned winner of the Grammophone Classical Music Award 2023. In Max Bruch's Double Concerto in E minor, the two musicians meet as soloists; in the other pieces of the evening, they take on the role of either soloist or section leader within the orchestra. An exciting constellation!

Notes
