Curator tour with Dr. Paul Kaiser

Ahrenshoop on the Fischland-Darß peninsula has been a place of relaxation and inspiration for Halle artists for a hundred years. For the first time, Halle am Meer presents a large panorama of the works created in response to the Baltic Sea, bringing together almost 300 works from a century and a half.

The exhibition project is a cooperation with the Dresden Institute for Cultural Studies and took place in summer 2023 in Halle (Saale) at the Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle (Saale) and in the Kunsthalle "Talstrasse" and will be shown in Ahrenshoop in fall/winter 2023/24 in the local art museum, the Kunstkaten and the Galerie Alte Schule in a slightly modified form.
