Sigrid Gruber: "PANTA RHEI" - objects and installations on the process of becoming and passing away - multi-layered/variant, creative/optimistic and aesthetic.
Sigrid Gruber presents her solo exhibition "PANTA RHEI" in the large Kunsthalle. On display are objects and installations - usually made of recycled materials such as paper and cardboard - that refer to excessive consumption of resources and environmental burdens caused by pollution, poisoning and destruction. This serious, highly topical subject is not dramatized by the artist - that would be too easy for her - rather she gives her objects/installations a poetically charged aura by means of aesthetics, colorfulness and lightness. Nothing remains as it is - everything is subject to the law of transience and is engaged in an endless process of becoming and passing away. However, with a positive attitude and productive/creative optimism, ways out of the worst crisis situations can always be found - according to the artist.
