Creative hardy flowers, sculptures and vessels made of ceramics in KeramikBahnhof RugenseeSculptures and vessels for the garden as well as home can view.

Also in 2023 you can again admire my creative ceramics and their production in my garden and small workshop. I have used the winter and created unique pieces of quite annually blooming flowers, painted bird and light houses, bells, sculptures as well as vessels for the garden as well as home. The workshop as well as the garden is open for you and I will be happy to personally answer your questions or guide you through my small exhibition. I look forward to your visit...

Based on more than 50 years of experience in working with clay and glazes, I create various ceramic art and utility objects, which are not alike in their similarity. Over the winter, many an idea was playfully born and not only implemented, but also refined. In addition to the classic production of ceramics with the potter's wheel, I also work with the historical bead as well as plate technique. Thus, not only utility ceramics but also sculptures and reliefs are created in my workshop, which you can also use in the garden all year round due to their hardy nature. Through the imprinting of plants, nets and other things as well as experimenting with glazes, a variety of patterns and colors are created in addition to the most diverse forms.
With retirement from active professional life in 2006, I moved my ceramic work to Rugensee, in the immediate vicinity of Willigrad Castle, and created a symbiosis of my ceramic art and the railroad hobby of my son. Thus was born the KeramikBahnhof, where you can admire both my artistic vein and original railroad parts in the garden. With pleasure I invite you to a tour.

Your Wolfgang Köpke
