The German-Finnish band plays purely instrumental tango. Annette Fischer and Karen Salewski come from Greifswald on this side of the Baltic Sea, Hanna Silvennoinen from Helsinki on the Finnish side.
With clarinet, cello and accordion, the musicians conjure up the soft and delicate sounds of the tango. Sometimes soft and gentle, sometimes witty and cheeky, Beltango tells stories of the sea, of love, of happiness and despair with classic Finnish tangos.
