Joséphine Olech & the young north german philharmonic orchestra
The four-day gathering of traditional sailors, which will take place for the 33rd time in Rostock's city harbour in 2024, is as rich in tradition as its musical prelude with the junge norddeutsche philharmonie and a member of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival's award-winning family. 2024 WEMAG Soloist Award winner Joséphine Olech demonstrates the passionate power of the flute and how an irrepressible free spirit, as seen in Ibert's flute concerto, harmonizes with the young orchestra.
