Exhibition on the theme "Coast - Free and Alone" with photography by Jannik Lexow
On May 1 at 2 p.m. at SPEICHER_Haus für: Fotografie will open the first solo exhibition by Jannik Lexow. He is showing a series of photographic works taken on various coasts. Nature becomes visible as a place of longing and an interlocutor, in discovered graphic structures and a special play of colors. The exhibition invites you to take a poetic walk through the pictures.
Jannik Lexow: "It was a cold, foggy morning when I set off to take photos on the beach. I had my camera in my hand and my heart full of anticipation. As I stepped onto the beach, I felt the calm and peace that surrounded the beach. As I made my way across the beach, a lone stone suddenly caught my eye. It lay there, majestic and powerful, but also fragile and vulnerable. I felt a connection to this stone, as if it had a story to tell. I picked up my camera and began to photograph the stone from different angles. I focused on the details of its different colors and textures."
Location: Playing card factory on the first floor and in the studio floor on the 2nd floor of the warehouse
