On the saddle, get set, go!
For the seventh time, the residential town of Neustrelitz is taking part in the popular CITY CYCLING for the climate in cooperation with the Leea. From June 1 to June 21, teams and individual participants are being sought to collect kilometers for climate protection and health on their bicycles.
Embark on an exciting cycle tour from Strelitz Alt to Neustrelitz. From a small town to a small duchy with influence on Europe. Who were the founders of the town? What influence did Dorothea Sophie von Plön have on the town of Neustrelitz? How did the master builders Julius Jöwe and Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel come to Neustrelitz? All these questions will be answered on a cycle tour by town guide Ludwig Zachmann. Start at the old moated castle (now a veterinary practice, formerly a prison) in Strelitz Alt, finish at Neustrelitz market square. The tour is 11 km, duration approx. 2 hours
