Cartoon exhibition "Full steam ahead to disaster?"

This year, Eine Welt-Neustrelitz e.V. has chosen caricatures from Eastern and Western Europe on the environmental crisis and climate change, provided by the Renovabis association (Eastern Europe relief organization of the Catholic Church) in Freising. The artists have posed the question of the importance of creation and our responsibility for it. How do they see the situation in their country? The result is the colorful and diverse answer "Full steam ahead to disaster?" The drawings show how different the economic realities and social influences are and how different their perceptions and forms of expression are. It is also an opportunity to take a fresh look at the views of our eastern neighbors.

The caricatures want to make us smile, but at the same time invite us to reflect on the central challenge for our future in Europe and worldwide.
