Schumann - Nikodijević - Piazzolla
Eleven festival prizewinners, one project! As prizewinners in residence, the musicians of the SIGNUM saxophone quartet have invited fellow prizewinners from the Festival family to try out new things together and make music together in the most beautiful places in the country. The special thing about this family reunion: It is also a chance to get to know each other, characterized by artistic curiosity. The project gives the artists space to make music together and it will be exciting to see what kind of fireworks this encounter ignites.
The first chamber music evening of the prizewinners' project traditionally takes place at Schloss Hasenwinkel. The hosts, the SIGNUM saxophone quartet, have searched for musical counterpoints for this program - from the German Schumann to the Argentinian Piazolla to the contemporary Serbian composer Marko Nikodijevic. In dialog with clarinet, violoncello and piano, the saxophone can be experienced as a true sound chameleon.
