In October 1980, the group "ATLAS" was founded as an amateur dance band in Kühlungsborn. The first gigs were in the Teepott Bar in Warnemünde, then in Balaton and then in the summer of 1981 in the Hafenbräu in Kühlungsborn. The current hits were in demand at the time.
It was the last season for the Hafenbräu, not because of us, but because the legendary dance floor had fallen into disrepair. 30 years later, Robert Frahm (founding member) came up with the idea of trying a new edition with the original line-up in the place where the Hafenbräu once stood - the Brauhaus Kühlungsborn.
