Exhibition to mark the 100th birthday of Walter Kunz. Commercial art, painting and ceramic works.
Walter Kunz (1924-2011) lived and worked here in Göldenitz from the 1980s. He studied commercial art at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee and later worked as a freelance graphic designer. Among other things, he designed posters and record covers and illustrated books. Between 1960 and 1990, he created many graphics for television, especially for children's television. In the later years of his life, he returned to painting and experimented with clay and porcelain.
On the occasion of his 100th birthday, we are showing a small cross-section of his artistic work. On display are paintings, graphics and ceramic works.
