It was supposed to be a great 40th wedding anniversary party - but during the celebration Karin discovers that her husband Sten is cheating on her. Devastated, she meets her former classmate Monika by chance. After a lively evening together, they decide to attend a cooking course with top chef Henrik together with Karin's friend Pia. Henrik is initially brusque and dismissive, but Katrin's active nature and her cooking skills fascinate him. A romance is in the offing ... At the same time, Karin and her two friends decide to set up a catering service. At their daughter's big birthday party, where Henrik also turns up, things finally come to a head - and Karin realizes that it is now up to her to make a decision ...
