The information office of the tourist company "Kap Arkona" is located at the entrance of the village Putgarten directly at the parking lot. Here you can get all the information and tools necessary for a perfect planning of your vacation or your stay at Kap Arkona.

Visitor's tax:
High season (01.June - 31.August) adults 1,00 EUR per day, children and teenagers (age 13-17 years) 0,75 EUR per day
Low season (01.September - 31.May) adults 0,75 EUR per day, children and teenagers (age of 13-17 years) 0,55 EUR per day
more info:
Severely disabled persons with more than 50% handicap, if they present the handicapped pass and their accompanying person and pensioners get the reduced spa card. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from spa tax, as well as severely disabled persons whose reduction in earning capacity is 100%, provided that they themselves bear the full cost of the stay (self-payers), and their accompanying person.

The spot is recommended for southwest to north winds. You can take courses and rent equipment at the wind and kitesurfing schools. Because of the sheltered location on the Wieker Bodden, the water is as smooth as iron.

Monument Kap Arkona

The area monument Kap Arkona is one of the most popular excursion destinations on Rügen. In addition to the 45 metre high cliff, the cape is home to a whole range of sights: The castle wall of Jaromarsburg Castle is located directly at the top of the Cape. The glass dome of the restored sighting tower glistens next to it. The Schinkel tower, the large lighthouse and the bearing tower can be visited.
