The restaurant of Tillmann Hahn, who was the first chef and star chef to open the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm in 2003 and cooked at the venue of the G8 World Economic Summit until 2008, has been a place with artisan cuisine for every budget with regional products, organic products and a cultural program since 2014.
Tillmann Hahns offers his guests, who come to Kühlunsgborn from the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast and the Lake District region as well as vacationers from all over Germany, a cuisine that has become rare today: everything is cooked in-house from raw ingredients without industrially processed finished products. The chef is on site every day, either behind the scenes preparing the food in the kitchen or personally serving guests in the restaurant. Moderate, sharply calculated prices, a relaxed atmosphere and competent, friendly service at eye level characterize this cosy restaurant in a Nordic country house style. The location on Ostseeallee with two terraces in the immediate vicinity of the pier and beach in the eastern part of Kühlungsborn offers holidaymakers and locals alike a real feel-good experience. The interior is characterized by restrained, classic design with sustainable materials that reflect the surroundings: light solid wood, brushed granite natural stone, limed oak and fine fabrics. The use of regional ingredients and organic products clearly sets this independently certified business apart from its competitors in the coastal town. A genuine family business with heart is also evident in the form of a lovingly compiled cultural program with live music evenings on Thursdays from spring to autumn and numerous culinary events from autumn to spring: cooking courses with the chef himself, kitchen party in February, New Year's Eve gala and much more....
