In the midst of rustic nature lies the idyllic Zapel. There, where hedgehog and hare say "good night" to each other, you will discover the "Atelier Martina Kriedel". In a cozy atmosphere, you can look over the artist's shoulder as she creates. Here you will find the individually suitable gift for every occasion - whether portrait or self-designed marionette.
In the romantic village of Zapel near Hagenow you will discover the "Atelier Martina Kriedel" between meadows and forest. The refuge of the all-round artist Martina Kriedel offers a lot:
Many portraits, drawn in charcoal, chalk, sepia and pencil, but also real oil paintings, adorn the walls of the small studio. Why not let yourself be portrayed? Whether from a photo or model in several sessions, everything is possible... But you can also marvel at the art calendars , which Ms. Kriedel has drawn, mostly on behalf of cities: Motifs of the calendars are historical houses, mills, churches from towns in the region.
The artist's self-created marionettes appear bizarre, since she designed them herself and modeled them after famous personalities, such as Udo Lindeberg or Angela Merkel. In her small marionette manufactory, Ms. Kriedel produces her mini marionettes and portrait marionettes, as a real one-of-a-kind with her own certificate. Customers can have their own personal marionette built from a photo template: Head, hands, feet are modeled, clothes are self-tailored and equipped with simple play cross. You can also get a homemade mini-bust, which can represent your desired portrait. This individual gift exhilarates the mind, after all, Mrs. Kriedel has her very own creation.... It is suitable for many occasions: Christmas, anniversary, birthday...
Another field of work of the artist is the so-called "suitcase theater":
Out of a suitcase, Ms. Kriedel performs self-staged old fairy tales or her own plays. Puppets, scenery, stage sets are self-invented and built. On request, the theater can be booked for family celebrations, parties, events. Please ask for times and current plays (phone: 03883/641771).
Mrs. Kriedel also offers various workshops: Whether pottery, handicrafts, painting: up to 6 people can "let off steam creatively" here, usually in 2-hour workshops. Mrs. Kriedel is available with expert guidance. An in-house kiln allows pottery work as small ceramics.
New projects:
"Fritz Reuter vertellt": Fritz Reuter reads from his work "Hanne Nüte un de lütte Pudel"? Not him, of course. Martina Kriedel has built a Fritz Reuter puppet and Andreas Auer lends it his voice.
