Historical Buildings, Churches

St. Peter's Church in Benz was first mentioned in 1229.

The medieval basic structure made of fieldstone is visible since the renovation in 1991/92. The upper tower and the interior decoration from the 18th/19th century with painted coffered ceiling are also interesting. For more than 30 years the church summer with concerts, readings and lectures takes place in the St. Petri church Benz.
