The sand used by the artists is not Baltic Sea sand, but a young, sharp-edged sand that can be "stacked". Only in this way it is possible to create the impressive works of art from sand.
A 45-strong team has created an impressive sand world from around 9,000 tons of sand on 4,000 square meters of exhibition space. 28 international artists, including world and European champions in "carving," present a world with sculptures up to eight meters high.
