Fair weather offers, Harbours and marinas, barrier-free

The Plauer Hai-Live e. V. sailing club in Plau am See in the Mecklenburg Lake District has been in existence since 2006. The association was founded as an inclusive sailing club right from the start.

Under the premise "Sailing connects", the Plauer now offers inclusive sailing, taster sessions and competition-oriented training for regatta athletes. The club has keelboats in the 2.4mR class for this purpose. These boats are sailed by one person, cannot be capsized and are unsinkable.

All people with and without disabilities who want to sail, with and without sailing experience, have the opportunity to learn to sail here. Anyone interested can contact the club via the club's e-mail address (info@plauer-hai-live.de) or simply drop by the marina during the sailing season.

From May to September, the club offers a special leisure program for patients of the MEDICLIN Reha-Zentrum Plau am See on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14:00 - 18:00. Those interested can discover the sport of sailing for themselves and try it out under the guidance of experienced instructors. Since 2006, many people have taken up the offer every year and have often been delighted to have exceeded their own limits. Of course, safety is very important to us - we only sail on these days in good weather and always accompany the sailors with our red inflatable boat.

And finally. No previous experience is required, just a good mood and the courage to try something new. We look forward to welcoming new sailors and those who want to become sailors.
