You are looking for peace and quiet, you like to move in nature with horse, with horse and cart, by bike or on foot. We welcome you to the Haflingerhof-Tack.

Are you looking for peace and quiet - do you enjoy being out in nature on horseback, by bike or on foot?

Then come to the Haflingerhof-Tack. Minishettys, Haflingers as well as our alpacas welcome you warmly on our farm. In our apartment with 30 square meters there is room for up to four guests, it is ideal for families. It is equipped with a double sofa bed, a bunk bed, a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. Get up, look out of the window and see your horse? This is possible on your request with our horse guest box directly at the house. Have breakfast on the extended and roofed creamery on the farm or let your evenings end there . Our special: Take the opportunity of our physiotherapist in the house and recover with a professional massage or another relaxation treatment.

You bring several four-legged friends with you on vacation? Then there are more guest boxes and pasture possibilities available for you at the stud farm in Alt Krenzlin, which is located 2km away. Directly from our Haflingerhof-Tack you can ride out over fields and through forests. Trial offers for the little ones of the family with grooming, pony leading and pony riding can be arranged individually on site. In addition, directly opposite is the "Donkey farm Luett Krams", with which also the one or other walk with donkey and horse are made together.

And the outdoor chess and bowling alley next door round off many an evening. We recommend a visit to the baroque town of Ludwigslust with its castle and park, which is home to changing exhibitions and offers all shopping facilities. Visit the stud farm of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Redefin or the "Kramserei" - the smallest cultural center in Mecklenburg, in the immediate vicinity of the Haflingerhof-Tack. We welcome you!

Our services for your horse-related vacation at the Haflingerhof-Tack:

  • our school horses are from mini-shetty to Haflinger, from 0.85 to 1.50 m tall
  • 2 dogs, 5 chickens, 3 geese and 3 cats are also happy to be petted
  • guest horses are welcome
  • 3-4 guest horse stalls with 9 sqm and straw bedding as well as
  • 3 guest horse pastures of 1-8 ha, fenced with electric fence
  • 2x daily feeding with hay and grass as well as self-watering
  • Horseback riding directly from the farm possible, connection to the stud road from Redefin to Neustadt a.D.
  • Member of the FN, the horse breeding association M-V and the Welthaflinger association
  • Arrival and departure transfer from Ludwigslust train station possible

Friedrichsmoor Forest Adventure Trail - Legendary Lewitz

For children there are discovery tasks and information about the forest and nature is conveyed in a playful way. City Hall Ludwigslust

Louisen Mausoleum Ludwigslust

Old paper factory Neu Kaliß

Duessin estate

Water mill Find us here

The world of legends in the Lewitz is teeming with dragons, mythical creatures and all kinds of secrets from the history of Germany's largest meadow landscape. There are a total of 16 stations along the trail, each of which has a legend as its theme. Artists have created statues for each station, and the legend can be read on panels or accessed as a radio play via QR code. For children there are discovery tasks and information about the forest and nature is conveyed in a playful way. Start and finish is the hunting lodge Friedrichsmoor the path is suitable for hikers and cyclists.

The three-nave, three-bay hall church made of brick rises into the sky on the north side of Wittenburg's market square. It is a work of the North German brick Gothic style, but also bears Romanesque elements on its facades. The church is Protestant.

Neustadt-Glewe Castle

Historic forestry farm Kaliß

Louisen Mausoleum Ludwigslust

The Louisen Mausoleum, which Duke Friedrich Franz I had built for Duchess Luise, who died in 1808, is located in Ludwigslust Palace Park. The neoclassical building was erected between 1809 and 1810. In addition to Duchess Luise, eight other members of the ducal family are buried there.

Local history museum Rüterberg

Hunger Tower Wittenburg

Old paper factory Neu Kaliß

When the two entrepreneurs Felix Schöller and Theodor Bausch came to Neu Kaliß in 1871, they already had ambitious plans. They wanted to reform the paper mill, which was already producing high-quality writing paper at that time. A modern paper mill was to be built on the banks of the New Elde River.

Bolbrüggesche mill - Grabow watermill

Hechtsforthschleuse

Duessin estate

Anyone driving through the small village of Düssin from the direction of Boizenburg will see the imposing red clinker brick building with its mighty hipped roof and the small tower on top, which is somewhat reminiscent of the spire of the Hamburg Michel, from afar.

Water mill Find us here

In 1851, the water mill in Neu Kaliß was built and served the economy of the small village on the Elde River for over a century. It was shut down in 1992. Today it supplies the community with electricity as a hydroelectric power plant.
