Historical Buildings

The half-timbered building, built in the 18th century, is the only port warehouse that survived in Goleniów. In the past, grain was stored here, currently it is not used.

The granary was built in the 18th century. A building with half-timbered structure. The building used to be a granary. Currently, it is the only preserved port granary in Goleniów. It was built on the foundations of a granary from the 16th century.
The granary is a landmark of the town's historical landscape, because until the 19th century Goleniów was known for its well-developed port trade. This situation changed due to the difficult navigation conditions on the Ina River and in the Szczecin Lagoon, as well as with the development of rail transport. With the opening of railroad connections with Szczecin, Kolberg and Cammin in Pomerania, the port definitely lost its importance.

Currently, the granary is not used. It is only a reminder of the former splendor of the port of Goleniów.
