Monuments and Sights

In Gollwitz is an old fishing boat and is very vivid on the land in front of the village pond.

The fishing boat was built around the 1950s by Wilhelm Post at the Pole boatyard and was mainly used for fishing with gillnets, eel traps and eel irons, especially in the Breitling, Salzhaff and Wismar Bay. At the end of the 70's it was sold and refurbished at the shipyard. Later a bigger engine was installed. After the turn Gustav Theyler installed a wheelhouse on the boat and went fishing with it. Even after the turn Today it stands on the land in front of the village pond of the village and spreads maritime flair.
