The windmill, built in 1850, has a circular ground plan and is a characteristic landmark on the map of Wolin. Currently it is not open to visitors.

The Dutch windmill was built in 1850. The building has three floors and is built on a circular ground plan. The building and its surroundings are registered in the Monument Register of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The Dutch Windmill is a point not to be missed when visiting Wolin. It is a characteristic building of Wolin, known from postcards. The windmill and its picturesque surroundings form a composition worth immortalizing.

The magnificent building can be admired from the outside. The interiors of the building are inaccessible, but sometimes you can see them thanks to kindness of the nice host. A similar facility can be found in the village of Sułomino (Soldemin), located about 4 km to the northeast. The windmill in Wolin is one of the geocaching points.
