Welcome to the family-run Aparthotel Tropenhaus Bansin - the unique hotel with its own zoo!

"The tropical house in Kaiserbad Bansin" is a story that goes back to the 1970s. Initially, the site was Bansin's school garden, then it developed into a mini zoo with a tropical hall. Today, visitors to the zoo and hotel guests can marvel at a unique symbiosis of exotic biodiversity and cozy hospitality.

The 1,550 square meter "tropical zoo" is home to around 150 animals from 70 species and around 120 exotic plant species. They crawl, climb, wriggle, creep and flutter in a terrarium area and a small tropical hall. In the outdoor areas, things get cuddly and silly, cackling and serious "winged words" are exchanged.

Small but beautiful, a passion for tropical animals and plants is combined with conservation, education and entertainment. The zoo is open 365 days a year. Highlight for all guests of the Aparthotel Tropenhaus Bansin: admission to the zoo is included every day!

The aparthotel has 36 individually designed apartments in 7 categories. From the moment they check in, children will love the animal name of their apartment and will never forget it again. All apartments have their own kitchens. This means that all guests are flexible and do not have to rely on external catering every evening.

Daily breakfast is always included for all guests! With an exquisite selection, breakfast dreams come true. The daily selection includes fried and scrambled eggs as well as various juices, coffee specialties, baked goods and individually designed finger food. On the upper floor of the café, families will find 2 play areas for children of all ages. Breakfast is always served from 7.00 am to 12.30 pm.

Various additional amenities such as:

Intermediate cleaning

Rental service for children's items

Parking lot directly at the house

Bicycle and baby carriage garage

24/7 snack vending machine

round off the hotel concept.

Convince yourself of the special tropical-maritime mixture and take a vacation at the zoo, in the Aparthotel Tropenhaus Bansin, only 500m away from the fine sandy Baltic Sea beach in the Kaiserbad Bansin!
