The time travel through the recent history of the earth begins in the Hanseatic town of Demmin. Embedded in a ground moraine landscape lies the valley of the Tollense. Cyclists follow the countless loops of the Tollense through meadows, fields and forests to Klempenow. From the tower of the old castle there is an impressive view over the Tollense valley. The rest of the route spoils you with scenic diversity. Stately hills and mountains alternate with simple valleys and wide plains, offering magnificent views in many places. In the erratic block garden in Schwichtenberg, enormous treasures from the ice age pile up. The path leads through the Brohmer Berge to the windmill town of Woldegk. After a leisurely rest, cyclists can immerse themselves in the fascinating nature of the Feldberg lake landscape.

Crystal-clear lakes with steep banks, primeval forests, gentle hills and valleys, moors and meadows stand for the ice-age treasure of forms of this area. Many lakes invite you for a refreshing swim. In the oldest beech forest in Germany, in the "Holy Halls", the trees tower into the sky like Gothic columns and provide cooling shade. From Feldberg, the journey leads through deep deciduous forests to Fürstenberg/Havel in Brandenburg, which lies between three lakes.

On the way through Mecklenburg's small lakes, bike hikers feel like they're in paradise. The beautiful landscape, rich in forests and lakes, awaits them with a variety of flora and fauna. Adventurers can pay a visit to primeval giants - a herd of shaggy bison - on the Werder peninsula.
On the edge of the Nossentiner/ Schwinzer Heide and through the mini mountains of Mecklenburg Switzerland runs the route to Malchiner See. In the surrounding villages there are many magnificent castles and neat manor houses that invite you to take a break. On the last kilometers, the Peene River accompanies cyclists on their way.
