It's finally that time of year again - witches big and small come flying back to the venerable Old Castle at the evening hour to celebrate the annual Walpurgis Night. Our guests can once again look forward to ghoulishly beautiful program highlights for the whole family and culinary delights for every taste.
Our Walpurgis Night begins after a festive opening with performances by young witches and witches from the AWO Kita Burggarten and a dance performance by the SCN dance branch from Penzlin.
The Penzlin brass band and comrades from the Penzlin fire department once again lend a helping hand to put the decorated maypole on its rooted feet.In addition to atmospheric band performances, young and old witches can also take part in the annual election for the most beautiful little castle witch and the most beautiful castle witch. The melodic and mystical sounds of the Penzlin Women's Choir are of course a must!
Taste delicious food and drinks between the wonderful program points, marvel with us at the face of numerous, fabulous figures who romp around the grounds year after year in the most beautiful robes before devils and witches swing their dancing legs!
If you dare, you can listen to exciting horror stories during evening tours of the witches' cellar.
As soon as the witches' elections come to an end and the traditional bonfire atmospherically lights up the night, a legendary fire show and musical sounds will round off Walpurgis Night.
Every witch and every mystical guest will be well catered for. And there will also be parking facilities around our castle grounds or within walking distance of the town center for the one or other nimble broom.
Join us for a night of singing, dancing, food and laughter.
